Radixact® SYSTEM

Robotic Precision for Every Patient

See the new technologies and core features that take Radixact precision to entirely new levels.

M6 Robot

The core of the Radixact System is the M6 robot — the world’s most advanced radiotherapy robot. The Radixact robot is uniquely able to follow targets through the full range of motion with sub-millimeter precision and accuracy.

Synchrony Motion Synchronization Technology

The industry-exclusive Synchrony technology uses fully integrated real-time patient imaging to continually track patient and target motion — and sophisticated movement algorithms to anticipate target movement to precisely synchronize treatment delivery with that target movement.

Arm-Mounted Linear Accelerator

The linear accelerator (LINAC) delivers the high-energy x-rays or electrons that drive modern radiation therapy. The high-dose-output LINAC of the Radixact System enables more efficient treatment delivery.

InCise 2
Multi-Leaf Collimator

The collimator shapes the radiation beam and can change its intensity. The Radixact System features the first-ever robotic arm-mount multi-leaf collimator (MLC), which uses multiple “leaves” to more rapidly shape the beam and enable the efficient treatment of larger targets with fewer beams.

RoboCouch Patient Positioning System

The RoboCouch is a robotic patient couch capable of positioning patients with sub-millimeter precision and accuracy.

Important Safety Statement: Most side effects of radiotherapy, including radiotherapy delivered with Accuray systems, are mild and temporary, often involving fatigue, nausea, and skin irritation. Side effects can be severe, however, leading to pain, alterations in normal body functions (for example, urinary or salivary function), deterioration of quality of life, permanent injury and even death. Side effects can occur during or shortly after radiation treatment or in the months and years following radiation. The nature and severity of side effects depend on many factors, including the size and location of the treated tumor, the treatment technique (for example, the radiation dose), the patient’s general medical condition, to name a few. For more details about the side effects of your radiation therapy, and if treatment with an Accuray product is right for you, ask your doctor.
